Home

The University of Bologna Law Review (UBLR) is a double-blind peer-reviewed, gold open access law journal, managed entirely by undergraduate and postgraduate students from the University of Bologna School of Law. The journal is supported by an international Advisory Board comprising over 70 distinguished academics and legal professionals, while its peer-review process is overseen by an international Reviewers’ Committee.

UBLR’s primary goal is to serve as a valuable research resource for practitioners, scholars, students, legislators, and others with an interest in legal studies.

Published twice a year, UBLR features articles exclusively in English, and promotes the discussion of contemporary legal issues. The journal welcomes submissions on topics from all jurisdictions and areas of law.

UBLR is indexed in numerous national and international databases, including DOAJ, ROAD, ERIHPlus, HeinOnline, BASE, JISC, Google Scholar, Index Copernicus International, Ulrichsweb, WorldCat, Scopus, and ESCI-Web of Science. It is also available in over 200 university libraries worldwide.

Additionally, the journal is listed as a recognized scientific publication (Area 12 - Legal Studies) by the Italian National Agency for the Evaluation of Universities and Research Institutes (ANVUR).
